Im Jahr 1633 am 10 März überfielen schwedisch weimarische Truppen Höchstadt die es fast ganz zu Schutt und Asche verarbeiteten. Doch noch heute werden wir an diesen Tag erinnert nämlich durch die gleichnamige Straße und durch Inszenierungen am Marktplatz. Die Schwedenschanze ist nicht nur eine Straße sondern auch eine Große Bushaltestelle für die Ritter von Spix schule und das Gymnasium. Von hieraus fahren Busse bis Erlangen und Dörfer rund um Höchstadt.

In the year 1633 on the 10th of March Swedish Weimar troops attacked Höchstadt and almost completely reduced it to ruins and ashes. But even today we are reminded of this day, namely through the street of the same name and through stagings on the marketplace.
